Own Our Liberty is about not depending on your government to give you liberty. Instead it is the understanding that we must give to ourselves and keep for ourselves, liberty. We cannot keep our liberties by believing our government is always honest and by silencing dissent with labels such as : Un-American, Conspiracy Theorist, Wacko and more just because we question our government. In fact, I see it as the right thing to do, to question our government. The American people, in high numbers, have allowed this government to inflate its grasp over the people, and in the process we have not viewed our liberty as it is owned by each of us, but rather that it can be sacrificed in the name of security, wealth, or some other promise that a government cannot keep. Also, in this sacrificing of liberty has been the willingness of people to quell dissent.
